Remembering Gene Parrish
Gene Parrish, longtime classical music host on KUSC-FM, who also wrote and produced syndicated programs of Worldwide Jazz and modern choral music with The First Art, has died. He was 82.

We ran Gene's "Worldwide Jazz" on WDNA-FM for many years until the show was retired. I still miss hearing "The following is a Beach Production from Los Angeles." May he rest in peace.
